ABOUT GOA.
Goa was a Portuguese colony for 450 years. Liberated in 1961, soon it became a tourist destination beginning with the "flower power generation". Stars
like The Who, Richard Gere, David Niven, Roger Moore 007, Samantha Fox, ... have all enjoyed Goa's easy way of living.
The population is 1.3 million, the area is 3'700 square kilometers. The capital is Panaji.
Goans are easy going, laid back and love to celebrate.
It is the only place in India (or perhaps in the world) where you can really relax.
ABOUT CALANGUTE.
Beside being the queen of Goa's beaches, Calangute is also the center of north Goa. It has all the facilities that tourist might have need of :
1. Doctors, dentists, speciality hospitals and chemist.
2. Various supermarkets.
3. Yoga and Ayurvedic treatments and massages.
4. Restaurants (Indian, Continental, Italian, Chinese,
Tibetan, Thai, etc...) |

Airport, Railway and Bus stations, all places of tourist interest are within one hour drive from Coco Banana.
Although being the center of north Goa beaches, there are also stretches of beach or small springs, which are quiet, deserted and hassle free.
